Princeton to Philadelphia International (PHL) is one of our most underrated routes. Many Princeton travelers default to EWR, but for flights on American, Frontier, or international SkyTeam partners, PHL is often cheaper, less crowded, and only about an hour away by car.
Princeton to PHL is about 55 miles via Route 1 south to I-295 south, then the Walt Whitman Bridge into Philadelphia and I-95 south to PHL. Drive time is 55 to 80 minutes depending on conditions. We re-route via the Commodore Barry Bridge during heavy Walt Whitman traffic.
Flat-rate Princeton-to-PHL pricing covers tolls, meet-and-greet, flight tracking, and complimentary wait time. Gratuity is optional and not included. No surge pricing, no holiday markup — the Tuesday morning rate is the Saturday night rate.
PHL has terminals A through F arranged in a horseshoe. Terminal A-East and A-West handle most international, B and C handle American Airlines domestic and Frontier, D handles Delta and partners, E is for Spirit and some Southwest, F is regional. We drop at the correct terminal based on your airline.
For arrivals, our chauffeur meets you inside the terminal at baggage claim with a name sign. Complimentary wait time is built in. International arrivals at A-West get extra time for customs.
Vehicle choices match the trip type: sedans for solo executives, SUVs for families, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans for groups up to 14 returning from European or Caribbean vacations with extra luggage.
Traffic & timing notes
I-295 south past Cherry Hill can back up during weekday rush. The Walt Whitman Bridge is the most common approach; we use the Commodore Barry when conditions favor it.
